Smart Fortwo 451 SAM BCM No Communication Clone & Data Recovery Service

Smart Fortwo 451 SAM BCM No Communication Clone & Data Recovery Service This is a mail-in SAM / BCM cloning and data recovery service for 2008–2015 Smart Fortwo 451 vehicles with an original SAM module that is damaged, burnt, or no longer communicates. This service is specifically intended for situations where the original SAM cannot be read or cloned using normal programming methods. We attempt to recover the necessary vehicle-specific data directly from your damaged original SAM and transfer it into a same-part-number replacement SAM that you provide. When recovery is successful, the replacement SAM is prepared as a plug-and-play replacement for your original module. IMPORTANT — THIS SERVICE IS FOR A DAMAGED OR NO-COMMUNICATION ORIGINAL SAM If your original SAM still communicates and can be read normally, you do not need this advanced recovery service. Please use our Standard Smart Fortwo SAM Cloning Service for an original SAM that still communicates. YOU MUST SEND BOTH THE ORIGINAL AND REPLACEMENT SAM MODULE. THE REPLACEMENT SAM MUST HAVE THE SAME PART NUMBER AS THE ORIGINAL. A REPLACEMENT SAM IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS SERVICE. WHAT IS THIS SERVICE FOR? This service is intended for Smart Fortwo 451 SAM modules where the original has failed due to problems such as: No communication Burnt or overheated components Electrical damage Internal module failure Corrosion or moisture damage SAM cannot be read using normal programming methods A SAM that no longer communicates does not necessarily mean the original vehicle data has been lost. We use advanced recovery methods to attempt to retrieve the necessary vehicle-specific data directly from the damaged original module. If recovery is successful, the recovered data is transferred into your replacement SAM. COMPATIBLE VEHICLES 2008–2015 Smart Fortwo (451) This service covers select Smart Fortwo 451 SAM / BCM / Signal Acquisition Modules. Please select your vehicle and module part number from the dropdown menu before ordering. REPLACEMENT SAM REQUIREMENTS You must provide a replacement SAM with this service. The replacement SAM must have the exact same part number as your original module. Do not purchase a replacement based only on the vehicle, model year, or physical appearance. Use the part number printed on your original SAM to locate a matching replacement. We do not supply replacement modules. NO COMMUNICATION / DAMAGED SAM RECOVERY If your original SAM no longer communicates or cannot be read normally, we will attempt to recover the necessary vehicle-specific data directly from the damaged module. Depending on the condition of the original SAM, recovery may require opening, disassembly, component removal, or other invasive work. Severe fire damage, circuit board damage, corrosion, missing components, or previous repair attempts may prevent successful data recovery. Recovery from a severely damaged original SAM cannot be guaranteed. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU 17-digit VIN Original damaged SAM Replacement SAM with the same part number as the original Clearly mark which module is the ORIGINAL and which is the REPLACEMENT. Both modules are required for this service. IMPORTANT — ORIGINAL SAM REQUIRED Your original SAM contains the vehicle-specific data required for this service. We cannot perform this recovery and cloning service without the original SAM. The original module does not need to communicate normally, but it must still contain recoverable data. The success of the recovery depends on the condition and extent of damage to the original module. MAIL-IN SERVICE This is a mail-in programming and data recovery service. No replacement SAM is included. After purchasing, ship both your original damaged SAM and same-part-number replacement module using the shipping instructions provided with your order. Once the recovery and cloning service is completed, your modules will be returned to you. Typical turnaround time is 1–2 business days after we receive your modules, although severely damaged modules may require additional processing time.   © 2026 Velectronix. All Rights Reserved.
