733--Small Toad Friend Bead

Frogs are wonderful creatures! They eat mosquitoes and add to the ambiance during a late summer afternoon walk. They are also adorable! Folks have been gifting each other frog themed items for centuries, as a token for luck on a journey. It may be because of their resilience, or their speed ( even the fat ones can jump fast!) or how they start life in water and drastically change from a tadpole into a froglet and then into their delightful final form. I carved this little creature out of wax and my husband cast it in fine pewter. It would make a sweet gift for someone beginning an adventure, or just something cute to add to a terrarium.
