DETAILS: 17.75 x 11 x 1.5 in| Kiln dried larch wood | Grown and produced in Nova Scotia, Canada MORE: End-grain cutting boards are not only beautiful, but also more durable, gentler on knives, and even capable of "self-repairing" minor cuts. The vertical grain exposes tightly packed wood fibers that naturally close back up, reducing the appearance of knife marks and creating a smoother surface. These fibers can also trap and kill bacteria, while the wood’s natural absorbency helps it dry faster—preventing excess moisture and further bacterial growth. It’s one of the safest cutting board options available. Born in Nova Scotia, Larch Wood is deeply committed to sustainability and supporting small woodlots in the region. The Larch tree, a renewable resource, is responsibly harvested in and around Magaree, Nova Scotia—helping preserve the natural landscape while providing exceptional quality craftsmanship.
