The pendant measures about 2.75" tall and 2.5" wide. A heart-shaped pendant that opens and closes like a small box, with a lid that lifts away completely. There are only 30 of this Small Batch necklace. So if you love it, don't leave it! These milagro pendants were created by hand by two artists in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The milagros are each unique and open to reveal a hidden locket. For Elizabeth, the combination of the milagros and the locket was an instant connection between these artists and ExVoto. She developed a fast friendship with the artists. That moment when you look at a stranger from another culture and realize, “you too?” Meaning “miracle” in Spanish, these Milagros pendants are a collaborative design between Elizabeth and an artist she met in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Formed by hand, each necklace is a wearable symbol of love and gratitude. The Milagros is often created, worn, nailed to a cross, or gifted to another as one is praying for a miracle.  When a prayer is answered, an ex Voto is created as a testament of gratitude for the answered prayer. Elizabeth designed necklaces for each pendant creating a bridge between the artists in Mexico and the US, and the milagro and an ExVoto. The ExVoto Vintage collection is made in the USA.
