Common Sense™ SLX Complete is an herbal dietary supplement formulated to help support normal digestive function and maintain regular bowel movements. This gentle blend of natural ingredients works with your body’s natural processes, encouraging comfortable digestion and helping reduce occasional bloating. Unlike harsher alternatives, SLX Complete is non-habit forming and designed for everyday digestive support. With a new name, Same Great Formula you've come to love throughout the years! Key Ingredients: SENNA LEAVES is the strongest herbal laxative for the hard-to-move person. In some people it may cause griping, which is why we have put it in combination with Psyllium and Slippery Elm. It is excellent for bad breath and may also help to expel worms (parasites). CASCARA SAGRADA BARK is the bark of a tree. Its name means “sacred covering” and it is the world’s most intelligent herbal laxative. It works via the liver and gallbladder and is non-habit-forming. The bitter gall of the gallbladder is the detergent for the colon; Cascara Sagrada simply strengthens the gallbladder. The gallbladder releases the bile through the small intestines and enters the colon, giving the colon its peristalsis action, which begins moving the waste off the colon wall. It may have been years since the colon has had any peristalsis movement; therefore, you may feel some griping when you first start taking Cascara Sagrada, but it will subside shortly. SLIPPERY ELM BARK is one of the most important herbs in Common Sense™ “SLX Complete” because it provides a protective coating for the colon wall. The colon wall is where most of our health troubles begin, because when there is no protection, the waste from the colon leaks directly into the bloodstream. Therefore, Slippery Elm may be referred to as “nature’s acidophilus”. It also serves as an aid to digestion, ulcers, and sensitive stomachs. FENNEL SEED is a great appetite suppressant as well as an aromatic herb used for cooking. We use it in Common Sense™ “SLX Complete” for its ability to dispel gas as the colon is cleansed. It is also good for gout, cramps, obesity, joint pains, food poisoning, and stomach problems (of all kinds). PSYLLIUM HUSK is the fiber/bulking agent that causes the sweeping effect off the walls, floor and ceiling of the colon. It is not an herbal laxative of itself. It is to be used in conjunction with an herbal laxative. ACIDOPHILUS BIFIDUS is derived from (all organic materials), it provides a protective coating for the colon wall. It is vegan, no sugar, and no artificial coloring. It also helps to prevent yeast infections.
