Slow Track Espresso

Good Folks Coffee's Slow Track Espresso is a love letter to the classic dark espresso tradition—rich, approachable, and unapologetically bold. Roasted in Portland with a deft hand, this blend delivers the comforting depth of dark chocolate and caramel without tipping into bitter or burnt territory. It's the kind of coffee that anchors your morning routine and never lets you down. Tasting NotesExpect layers of dark chocolate and semi-sweet cocoa up front, followed by warm caramel sweetness that rounds out the cup. The body is full and syrupy—the kind of texture that coats your palate and lingers pleasantly. Acidity is low and smooth, making this an ideal choice for milk-based drinks where you want the coffee to shine through without sharpness. The finish is clean with a gentle bittersweet chocolate echo that invites the next sip. Brew MethodsSlow Track was designed for espresso, where its syrupy body and chocolate-forward profile create rich, creamy shots that pair beautifully with steamed milk in cappuccinos and lattes. But this blend doesn't stop there—it's equally rewarding as drip coffee, French press, or even cold brew. The darker roast level means it's forgiving across brew methods, making it a versatile workhorse for home baristas at any skill level. Try it in a moka pot for an intense, traditional Italian-style coffee experience.
