Slow Like Honey

This beautiful, genderfull being in deep communion, and communication. They are in soul meditation, drinking in the energy of the universe. They are focused and shaping universal energy into geometric form, in sacred submission to where this journey takes them. Their heart and their throat centers are clear, open and ready to be a channel for truth, pleasure and wisdom. At this point in humanity’s timeline (2025) they face immense oppression, violence and erasure for  being as genderfull, melanated, unique, queer, powerful and expressive a being as they are. Taking the space to shut out the chatter, the stimuli, the need for hypervigilance, the responsibilities and obligations, can be almost impossible, and yet here they are. They did not choose this reality, and work hard not to contribute to it. They fight to dismantle it, and one of these ways is by actively choosing to tap back into the source, the universal intelligence and compassion that transcends the petty aspects of humankind. They do this to support their own resilience and foundation. They do this to create their own reality within a reality, for there are many, many realities.  They slather themselves in the sweet honey of pollinators - beings that visit flowers, feeding on nectar and pollen to fertilize new life. Honey is medicinal and beautifying, healing wounds inside and out. It soothes the throat and warms the heart with its thick sweetness, and their energy centers glow back in gratitude. This being is offering themselves healing while working, pleasure while navigating pain. The fruits of this practice drip into their community, offering a healthy stickiness to bind them together through challenges and celebrations. The community is invited to find the sweetness and lessons in challenges, to remember how to go back to source for the answers when being with one another seems impossible, to see beyond binaries to live in the nuance that exists in not just some, but EVERY situation.  How is it that YOU balance pleasure and pain in your life? Are they intertwined sometimes? How are YOU doing the self-work to self-regulate in the face of that which seeks to oppress and/or assimilate you? What is your personal form of meditation that connects you to your source? Your community?
