The Verse 270 tail and 82cm aluminum mast add predictable control, while the included pump, wing wrist leash and coiled calf leash complete the essential on-water setup. SlingWing V6: 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0 m² Glide Craft 120L Ease 1850 Front Wing Verse 270 Tail 82cm Aluminum Mast UniHandle & Wrist Leash Included Pump & Board Leash Included Why Choose This Progression Package? Smooth, Predictable Wing Power The SlingWing V6 is a versatile freeride wing with steady power delivery, stable handling in gusts and efficient upwind drive. Its balanced feel helps make cruising, gybes and early transitions more repeatable. Stable Starts Without a School-Board Feel At 120L, the Glide Craft provides the volume and stability learners need while retaining a direct connection to the foil. Its efficient tri-surface hull builds speed and releases cleanly for easier takeoffs. Early, Controlled Lift The Ease 1850 prioritizes early lift, centered support and forgiving feedback rather than top speed. The Verse 270 adds low-speed pitch stability, giving new riders more time to correct small mistakes. A Foil Platform That Can Grow With You The modular One-Lock system lets you change the front wing, tail or mast separately as your riding develops. The included 82cm aluminum mast is Slingshot’s all-around middle length for wing foiling. Best fit: New and progressing wing foilers who want stability and early lift now, plus a responsive hard board and upgradeable foil platform for continued freeride progression. Glide Craft 120L Board Volume Length Width Thickness Listed Weight 120L 72″ / 6′0″ 27½″ 5½″ 15.3 lb The Glide Craft’s tri-surface displacement-planing hull is designed to accelerate efficiently and release cleanly into flight. Once on foil, its pitch and roll stability help the board feel composed through straight-line riding, touchdowns and direction changes. Board volume is fixed at 120L. More volume generally supports easier starts, but the right board still depends on rider weight, skill and conditions. Ask Windance to confirm the fit if you are unsure. The board supports strapless riding plus tri-strap and offset front-foot configurations. Footstraps and a board bag are not listed as package components. One-Lock Ease 1850 Foil Setup Foil Part Role in This Package Why It Fits Progression Ease 1850 front wing Beginner-focused front wing with composite carbon-glass construction Early lift, a stable center of support and gentle turning response Verse 270 tail Large stabilizer with integrated monobloc fuselage Forgiving low-speed lift and reduced pitch sensitivity Aluminum 82cm mast Mid-length mast with standard-track RTS mounting hardware All-around ride height, predictable control and room to handle chop Simplified assembly: The front wing, mast and integrated Verse tail/fuselage connect through the One-Lock system. The mast mounts to the Glide Craft’s standard foil tracks with the included RTS kit. Follow Slingshot’s assembly, inspection and care instructions before every session. Choose Your SlingWing V6 Size Wing Size Relative Power Selection Context 4.0 m² Least power of the three options Consider for lighter riders, stronger wind or riders prioritizing easier handling 4.5 m² Middle option A balanced starting point when 4.0 feels small and 5.0 feels excessive for local conditions 5.0 m² Most power of the three options Consider for heavier riders, lighter wind or riders who need more low-end drive There is no universal wind range. Slingshot recommends choosing wing size from rider weight, foil size, board volume and wind strength. Size up for earlier lift and size down for control in stronger wind. What You Need Separately Personal safety equipment: Choose a suitable helmet, flotation equipment and exposure protection for your location and conditions. Instruction: Professional lessons and a safe, open learning area are strongly recommended for first-time wing foilers. Optional footstraps: The Glide Craft has insert options, but footstraps are not included. Slingshot recommends starting strapless for simpler learning and natural foot placement. A wing bag, wrist leash, foil covers, board-mounting RTS kit, pump and board leash are already included as part of the listed components. Frequently Asked Questions Is this a true beginner package? Yes. Slingshot positions the Ease 1850 and Verse 270 pairing for new riders who prioritize early lift, stability and predictable control. The Glide Craft 120L adds a stable hard-board platform that can continue supporting freeride progression. Will I outgrow it immediately? The setup emphasizes accessible learning, but it is not a disposable first-step kit. The SlingWing V6 and Glide Craft are versatile freeride components, and One-Lock lets you change individual foil parts as your priorities shift toward more glide, speed or maneuverability. Does the foil need a separate fuselage? No. The Verse 270 incorporates the fuselage into its monobloc tail assembly. Together with the Ease 1850 and One-Lock mast, it forms the complete foil used in this package. Do I need another handle, leash or pump? No extra wing handle or wrist leash is needed because both come with the SlingWing V6. The Slingshot pump and Ride Engine board leash are also included. Personal safety equipment remains separate. Is the Ride Engine leash worn at the ankle? No. It is a calf-specific leash with a rotating cuff. Its coiled cord is designed to stay compact and reduce tangling around your feet. Need sizing help?
