Compatibility This clamp nut kit is designed to fit: All Flip Foot Saw Measuring Systems Type 3 Fixed Foot Saw Measuring Systems Identified by three mounting holes on the slider It is not compatible with: Type 1 and 2 Fixed Foot Saw Measuring Systems Identified by two mounting holes on the slider If your fixed-foot slider has two holes, it is an older model. Easy Replacement Procedure Installing the clamp nut is quick and straightforward: Remove the clamp handle and socket-head set screw. Slide the worn clamp nut off the underside of the red anodized slider. Position the new clamp nut, ensuring the ¼-20 hex nuts align with the molded recesses. Reinstall the socket-head screws. Replace the center weld nut. Once installed, the slider should again move freely and lock firmly in place.
