Designed for optimal absorption and gentle digestion, Solaray Magnesium Glycinate is made via our in-house chelation process.* Chelation is a chemical reaction between a mineral, like magnesium, and a ligand, like glycine. With our mag gly, we achieve chelation with only magnesium, glycine, heat, and water (no additional materials or carriers) in our GMP facility certified by NSF in Utah. To our knowledge, we are the only U.S. supplement finished product manufacturer with its own in-house proprietary chelation process. This allows us to control and test the inputs and outputs, and triple verify for the right ratio, right process, and right bonds, to produce a truly excellent magnesium supplement. **Most contaminants, heavy metals, and microbes are tested to ensure no more than 3 ppm.
