Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is located on the northwest shore of Lake Michigan. Our design is based on the park's origins. Believing the site to look like a "sleeping bear", Ojibwe legend told of a forest fire that drove a mother and her cubs into Lake Michigan. The mother made the journey; her cubs did not. She curled up to sleep and wait for her babies to return. With our design, we hoped to reunite the family. Every sale raises money for parks conservation!
