Sleep

In Sleep - Andrius Miezis distills vulnerability into a single, quiet gesture. The soft, purple figure curls into itself, head resting on a small pool of darkness that seems both real and cosmic. The background fades into muted greens and grays, amplifying the figure’s solitude and dreamlike stillness. The work evokes a sense of surrender - to rest, to emotion, to the unknown. The black pool beneath the head hints at unconscious depths, perhaps the vast inner universe that dreams inhabit. In Sleep, Miezis captures the delicate tension between peace and oblivion. It’s a meditation on rest as both refuge and mystery - where body and soul dissolve into the tender gravity of silence.
