Skyrover S1 packs a 1/2-inch Sony sensor, 3-axis mechanical gimbal, forward obstacle avoidance, and 40 minutes of flight time into a sub-249g airframe — no FAA registration required for recreational use. Key Features Sub-249g — no FAA registration required for recreational flight 1/2-inch Sony CMOS sensor — 4K/60fps video, 48MP photos, f/1.7 aperture 3-axis mechanical gimbal for cinematic stability Forward obstacle avoidance — rare in this weight and price class Up to 7–10 mile dual-band video transmission with 1080p/60fps live view Compact Cinematic Power A 1/2-inch Sony sensor, an f/1.7 lens, and a true 3-axis mechanical gimbal — the camera system inside Skyrover S1 punches way above its weight class. Vivid color, rich detail, and steady footage in every shot. 1/2" Sony CMOS Sensor A larger sensor pulls in more light for cleaner low-light footage and richer color. An f/1.7 aperture means more of every scene reaches the sensor. 4K/60fps Video And 48MP Photos Shoot 4K at 60 frames per second for buttery smooth video, or pull crisp 48MP stills with 8K image quality straight off the sensor. 3-Axis Mechanical Gimbal Mechanical stabilization on all three axes keeps every movement steady — no shaky video, no electronic-stabilization warping, just smooth cinematic motion. 2.7K Vertical For Reels And Stories Capture native 2.7K vertical video for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. No reframing, no awkward crops — post straight from the SD card. SR-Log Flat Color Profile SR-Log preserves dynamic range in highlights and shadows for serious post-production. Drop in the official SKYROVER LUT and graded footage looks cinematic. Smart Flight, Beginner-Friendly Long-range transmission, automatic obstacle detection, smart return-home, and creative flight modes that make great footage one tap away — Skyrover S1 is built to fly easy and look pro. 7–10 Mile Dual-Band Transmission Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz transmission delivers a stable 1080p/60fps live view at distances most consumer drones can't touch — up to about 39,000 feet line-of-sight. Forward Obstacle Avoidance Forward-facing infrared sensors detect objects in the drone's flight path so it can stop or steer around them — a safety feature usually reserved for heavier, pricier aircraft. Auto Return Home If the signal drops or the battery runs low, S1 automatically returns to its takeoff point. Less worry, more flying time. Level 5 Wind Resistance Holds position and flies smooth in winds up to 15 m/s. Footage stays steady when conditions don't cooperate. Auto Track Subject Following Pick a subject on the controller screen and S1 keeps it centered in the frame. No second pilot, no contortions — just hands-free recording while you do whatever you're doing. One-Tap Pro Shots Lift, Loop, Twist, Vista, and Asteroid — preset cinematic flight paths trigger from a single tap. Travel reels and vlog cutaways without learning a stick combo. Built To Travel With You Sub-249g, foldable, with the longest single-battery flight time in its class. S1 fits in a jacket pocket and stays in the air long enough to actually use — no battery anxiety, no FAA paperwork, no problem. Sub-249g — No FAA Registration Recreational flight with the S1 doesn't require FAA registration or Remote ID for hobby users in the US. Always check local rules, but the paperwork is minimal. Foldable, Backpack-Ready Folded down, S1 slips into a small bag or jacket pocket. Unfold, take off, and start flying — perfect for travel, hikes, road trips, and spontaneous shoots. 40-Min Flight Time Per Battery Up to 40 minutes per smart battery — among the longest flight times in the sub-249g class. More time in the air means more shots and fewer battery swaps. Built For Any Altitude, Any Weather Operates from –15° to 40°C and takes off at altitudes up to 5,000 meters. Snowy peaks, summer heat, mountain meadows — fly with confidence.
