Sky-Watcher Evostar 100EDX APO LIMITED EDITION

LIMITED EDITION] Capture crisp, color-true views of the night sky with the Sky-Watcher Evostar 100EDX APO Doublet, a limited-edition refractor built for serious visual astronomy and astrophotography. The 100mm aperture and 700mm focal length deliver an excellent balance of light-gathering power, portability, and wide-field performance for deep-sky objects, lunar detail, and planetary viewing. Its f/7 focal ratio makes this telescope a versatile performer for both observing and imaging, offering sharp contrast without becoming overly demanding on your mount or camera setup. Built with premium FPL-53 ED glass, the two-element air-spaced apochromatic optical system helps minimize chromatic aberration for cleaner stars and more natural color correction. Fully multi-coated optics with Sky-Watcher’s Metallic High-Transmission Coatings™ enhance brightness, contrast, and clarity while helping produce those deep, charcoal-black backgrounds astronomers love. The 2.8-inch dual-speed Crayford-style focuser with an 11:1 fine-focus ratio allows smooth, precise focusing for visual use, DSLR imaging, and dedicated astronomy cameras. A built-in camera angle adjuster makes framing your target easier, especially when composing nebulae, galaxies, star fields, or lunar closeups. The glossy white metal-flake aluminum tube gives this limited-edition Evostar a refined, premium look while keeping the optical tube lightweight and manageable. With included tube rings, V-style dovetail, thread-on dew shield, adapters, spacer, and a foam-lined aluminum case, this telescope arrives ready to become the centerpiece of a high-quality refractor setup.
