MacKenzie-Childs | Sky Check Tea Kettle, 2 Qt

There's something irresistible about those soft blue checks catching the light as your water comes to a rolling boil. The MacKenzie-Childs Sky Check 2-Quart Tea Kettle wraps heavy-gauge steel in hand-painted, color-dragged checks that evoke a clear spring sky, all edged in bronzed stainless steel for a finish that glows with warmth. The wood handle keeps your pour cool and steady, while the glass finial lid with brass accents lets you watch the steam gather. We chose this kettle because it turns everyday brewing into a moment worth savoring. The generous 2-quart capacity handles morning tea for two or a full pot of your favorite loose-leaf blend, and it heats evenly on gas or electric burners at low to medium settings. Each piece is hand-glazed and hand-painted, so every kettle carries its own gentle variations that only get more charming with time. Set it on the stove and let the calm wash over you, or fill it with garden cuttings when tea season takes a pause.
