Skutt Pottery Wheel Leg Extensions for Classic and Legend Wheels

Skutt Pottery Wheels LEG EXTENSIONS for Classic and Legend Wheels Does not fit Prodigy wheels The popular adjustable leg extensions easily convert any of our wheels (except Prodigy), into a stand up wheel by utilizing the unique cast aluminum clamp that attaches to the 2” pipe leg. These legs make the wheel infinitely adjustable to a maximum 30" in height. Let’s face it, none of us are getting younger and the physical toll throwing pots can impose on your body is not going to improve unless you make some changes. It is widely agreed that one of the things you can do to help limit the damage is to throw in a less crouched position. The only way to do this is to raise the level of your stool and the level of the wheel. We have the wheel part covered and are working on the stool. Our leg extensions are easy to install and allow you to infinity adjust the height of the wheel to the level that suits you. Some potters want to stand, others just want to raise the wheel a little to adjust the angle of their back while they are throwing. Steven hill can explain this much better than we can so please watch the short video below.
