This solid sterling silver Skull & Bones tie tack label pin is wax carved by hand and cast using the ancient process of Lost Wax in sterling silver. I then made a mold, which I can inject with wax and make wax copies of the Skull and crossbones and cast a lot of them. In this case, 3 so far, as a Limited Edition run. What can we do but recognize and even celebrate these as reminders to live our lives more fully? The Stoic Philosophers of antiquity wrote that one can only live one’s life fully in the present moment by meditating on death’s inevitability.
