Knife makers can grind, finish, and customize the blade to suit their own design style, and having two matching blanks means you can complete a pair of knives, or practice your technique on the second while perfecting the first. Handle Scale Materials: Comfort and Character This set includes two handle scale materials that allow builders to shape and finish their own handles. The pre-drilled full tang structure makes installation easier for knife makers working on custom builds. Craftsmen who build their own blades often use materials like wood, micarta, or horn scales depending on their design. Damascus Steel: More Than Just a Pretty Pattern The blanks feature forged Damascus steel blade patterns created through layered steel forging. Because each blade is hand-forged, no two blanks in this set carry an identical pattern, giving every finished knife its own individual character. Full Tang Construction, and Ready for Your Build The pre-drilled full tang structure gives each blank the strength and balance needed for a finished hunting or bushcraft knife.
