Skin Script Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub/Mask

✨ Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub/Mask Brighten, Resurface & Renew This dual-action exfoliator combines the power of retinol with gentle physical exfoliation to promote a clear, healthy skin tone. Retinol encourages the breakup of blackheads and clogged pores, while jojoba beads gently exfoliate dead skin cells. Kojic acid works to lighten age spots and scars left from blemishes. 💛 Why You’ll Love It: Resurfaces and refines the skin Lessens visible signs of aging Brightens skin discolorations Provides chemical and physical exfoliation Enhances cellular turnover Assists in skin rejuvenation 🧪 Key Ingredients: Retinol (2%) – Reduces cellular buildup, assists in the prevention of microcomedones, resurfaces and smoothes the skin, and stimulates collagen production to improve skin quality and youthfulness. Kojic Acid (2%) – Lightens skin discolorations, slows the production of melanin, and assists in maintaining desired skin coloration after aggressive depigmentation treatments. Jojoba Beads – Provide the physical exfoliation component of the product. They gently buff away dead surface debris and leave behind jojoba esters, which are moisture-retaining. Malic Acid (L) – Gentle fruit-derived exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells, revealing smoother, brighter skin with improved texture and tone. Zanthoxylum Americanum (Prickly Ash) Bark Extract – Encourages healthy circulation and provides gentle stimulant properties to promote healthy oxygenation. It is also anti-inflammatory. 🕘 How to Use: Cleanse with your preferred Skin Script cleanser. Apply a thin layer of the Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub/Mask to the face, neck, and chest. For use as a mask, allow the actives to penetrate into the skin for 5–10 minutes. Add a minimal amount of water and gently massage in circular motions for 15–30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with my favorite hydrating toner and moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type. 💡 Tips & Tricks for Using the Retinol 2% Exfoliating Scrub/Mask Start Slow: If you're new to retinol or have sensitive skin, begin by using the scrub 1 time/week. Pair it with a gentle cleanser like the Pomegranate Antioxidant Creamy Cleanser  or the Green Tea Cleanser to minimize potential irritation. For Most Skin Types: Use the scrub 2–3 times per week. For enhanced exfoliation, pair it with the Glycolic Cleanser. The glycolic acid helps loosen dead skin cells, allowing the retinol scrub to polish the skin effectively. Only after you have been using both the Glycolic Cleanser and Scrub on its own for a few months. This should not be done right away.  Application as a Mask: After cleansing, apply a thin layer of the scrub to your face, neck, and chest. Leave it on for 5–10 minutes to allow the active ingredients to penetrate the skin. Add a small amount of water and gently massage in circular motions for 15–30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water. Additional Tips: This can be used on Keratosis Pilaris - those tiny bumps you get on your arms usually. Followed by hydration! Use on the top area of the bikini to help with ingrown hairs.  Avoid using other exfoliating products (like scrubs or acids) on the same day to prevent over-exfoliation. Always follow up with a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Apply sunscreen daily, as retinol can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. 🔍 Full Ingredient List: Aqua (Water), Jojoba Esters (Beads), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Glycerin, Behenyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Kojic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Alcohol Denat., Sucrose Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Dicaprylyl Ether, Zanthoxylum Americanum (Prickly Ash) Bark Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Sorbic Acid, Malic Acid (L), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol
