Mountain Jacket

We are beginning to ship the SkiJacs in Drab Green and Brown now.  We hope to make them in all colors for 2026, but don't know when we'll have the Fabric to work with.  If the website shows SOLD OUT for something you definitely want, please LMK because we'll be adding to the inventory as the Jackets pass through final (which is the third!) inspection. These Jackets are $900 up to size 2XLarge.  3XLarge, $930 and 4XLarge, $960. Originally designed (and now somewhat redesigned) by Advisor Chad Borofsky, a ski patrol veteran since about 1990, the SkiJac works for all types of skiing and many other outdoor activities. Some of the people who like it best don't ski at all, and began to call it The Mountain Jacket because it tested really well at the US Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center at Pickel Meadows. The design of this Jacket was inspired by a couple of Ski Jackets Chad liked, plus his suggestions for improving them, and input from customers. The SkiJac features: FullWeight Jacquard Fabric throughout Large adjustable Hood.  Not everyone will be able to wear a helmet under the Hood ... depends on size of helmet and length of neck Large outer front pockets on each side Large inside, zippered pockets on each side Bottom sweep cinch Knitted cuffs We are working on photos of the new SkiJac.  The photos on this page still show the previous version.  Sorry.  The next batch of photos will show the interior of the SkiJac, which features some of our relatively new structural Fabric (sometimes called Heritage or sometimes called LightWeight).  We developed this 100% Wool Fabric, made from the same fiber as all our other Fabrics, to use in places where we previously had to use a commercial wool-poly blend.
