Sir Big Spur

University of South Carolina Columbia, South Carolina Framed: 21½ in. x 25½ in. Unframed: 18 in. x 22½ in. Artist Stephen Malkoff is proud to team up with the University of South Carolina. The purchase of this exquisite work of art benefits all University of South Carolina Athletics.  The museum-quality framing of this print includes a black frosted ribbed wooden frame with double matting in school colors. He struts with pride and spirt and leaves no doubt of his determination. The University of South Carolina's feared gamecock, Sir Big Spur is now at the pencil point of national artist Stephen Malkoff.  Sir Big Spur is the Picasso of birds and a fitting subject for Malkoff's collegiate collection of university icons and mascots. From the intensity of Sir Big Spur's (originally called Cocky Doodle Lou) intensive stare to his razor sharp spurs, he intends fear in the hearts of all his opponents. He has earned all the respect and is the Mack Daddy of all gamecocks.
