Fold-over magnetic clasps combine the convenience of a magnetic clasp with the added security of a hinged fold-over closure. The magnet helps bring the two sides together, then the metal flap folds over to help lock the clasp closed. They're especially convenient for bracelets because they're easy to operate and can often be fastened with one hand. They also give handmade jewelry a substantial, finished appearance without requiring complicated hardware. Unlike a basic magnet-only clasp, the fold-over design provides an additional mechanical closure. The clasp body also helps shield the magnet, making these a great option for jewelry makers who like magnetic clasps but want a more secure finished design. The two-hole attachment style works especially well for double-strand bracelets and other multi-strand designs, helping keep the strands separated and neatly positioned at the clasp. Use them with beaded bracelets, necklaces, bead weaving, and other jewelry-making projects. Mobile-Boutique carries fold-over magnetic clasps in multiple sizes, finishes, styles, and attachment configurations.
