Single Joint Leather Covered D

The Single Joint Leather Covered D Ring Bit has a stainless steel core wrapped in leather, providing strength while offering a softer surface than a bare metal bit. The leather naturally softens slightly when moistened, providing a gentler surface that many horses with sensitive mouths accept more easily. Flat, non-abrasive stitching ensures the mouthpiece is smooth and comfortable, minimizing the risk of irritation. Paired with D-ring cheekpieces, this bit provides lateral stability and prevents rotation, supporting clear and reliable contact. Ideal for horses that prefer a steady contact, have sensitive mouths, or perform better in a leather covered bit than a standard metal one.
