Simplicity DC Protein Skimmer with Adjustable Controller – Multiple Sizes Bring power, precision and control to your aquarium filtration with the Simplicity DC Protein Skimmer. Designed for saltwater and reef aquariums, each model combines an adjustable DC pump with an efficient needle-wheel impeller to produce microfine bubbles that remove dissolved organic waste from the water. The included controller lets you adjust the pump output to match your aquarium’s needs. Additional air-intake and water-level controls provide precise tuning for wet or dry skimming. Aquariums containing numerous fish, large fish or heavy feeding schedules should follow the heavy-bioload rating. Moderately stocked systems should follow the medium-bioload rating. When deciding between two models, consider your available sump space, operating water depth and expected future stocking level. An oversized skimmer can be difficult to keep consistently tuned on a lightly stocked aquarium. Installation Requirements • Designed for in-sump installation • Place the skimmer after filter socks or other mechanical filtration • Maintain the recommended sump water depth for the selected model • Confirm the skimmer footprint and height clearance before ordering • Allow additional overhead clearance to remove and clean the collection cup What’s Included • Simplicity DC Protein Skimmer • Adjustable DC pump • Pump controller • Power supplyconnected • Collection cup with drain and cap • Air silencer and air-intake assembly • Required assembly components Why Buy From Infinity and Beyond Aquatics?
