Simple Clamshell Rapier

This rapier build is part of the next generation of products that will be applied to our retail partners program but for the time being you can get it directly from us here! This design is based on our last generation design with a few major changes, the guard is metal 3d printed in 316 stainless steel with some special in-house processing for extra durability and a cosmetic finish that other 3d printed guards cant achieve. The clam portion is attached with high strength M6 threaded machine screws in a historical fashion which allows for modification and easy parts replacement later. We have refined the grip shape and added some flair with twists! The new grip is a harder version of PTEG as well. Blade designs haven’t changed because we already make the best blades in the business. This build is available with both the BBS flat distal taper 1095 spring steel rapier blades and the hand ground 5160 diamond distal taper rapier blades in 40″ and 42″ lengths. Flex is offered at F3 flex- 13.5lb (6.2gr) target flex weight for safe yet responsive sparring. We only offer normal tips for these complete builds. A #1 size Castille safety tip can be added to the order. We’ve applied decades of experience into these next gen products in order to make them affordable legacy products for every level of competition.
