Simms Solarflex Guide Gloves

Simms Guide Sun Gloves – UPF 50 Fly Fishing Gloves for Maximum Durability The guide’s choice sun glove is back—rebuilt with key upgrades for anglers who demand maximum sun protection, grip, and long-term durability in high-friction environments. Designed for professional guides and hard-charging anglers, Simms has made the most durable fly fishing sun glove to date. A redesigned palm construction eliminates exposed stitching—one of the most common failure points in high-use gloves. The palm now features ultra-durable AX Suede® 10W-90, delivering the ideal balance of grip and wet slip for rowing drift boats, grabbing leaders, fighting fish, or poling the flats, without sacrificing dexterity. The back of the hand is constructed with a lightweight, breathable UPF 50 stretch textile, providing critical sun protection while keeping hands cool during long days on the water. Reduced seaming and a low-profile design minimize wear against oars, push poles, and gunwales, extending the life of the glove in demanding conditions. Built for saltwater flats, big rivers, and guide-level abuse, this glove lets you relax and enjoy the rays—without worrying about sun exposure or premature wear. Key Features AX Suede® 10W-90 palm for extreme abrasion resistance and reliable grip No exposed palm stitching to prevent seam failures UPF 50 lightweight, breathable stretch fabric on back of hand Reduced seaming, low-profile construction minimizes wear against poles and oars Half-finger fourchette pattern for enhanced dexterity and protection from line burn Low-profile webbing pull loops on two fingers for easy glove removal
