Studs are recommended for slippery moss, algae, or slime as they penetrate the material to grip the substrate beneath. They are also the only option for felt outsoles. Simms provides studs specific to rubber/Vibram and felt outsoles. For Instalation help, check out our YouTube video on stud and cleat tips.
