H1 Heading: Silver Travertine Versailles Pattern – Honed, Unfilled & Chiseled   Product Overview Embrace an "old-world" estate aesthetic with our premium Silver Travertine Versailles Pattern. This collection features a sophisticated blend of silvery-greys, soft taupes, and cool ash tones. By combining the classic modular French pattern with Chiseled Edges, this stone creates a timeless, architectural look that masks wear and tear beautifully. The "Four-Way" Premium Finish This stone undergoes a specialized multi-step finishing process to achieve its unique organic character: • Honed: Ground flat for a smooth, matte surface without a high-shine glare. • Unfilled: The natural "pits" and voids are left open, preserving the raw, authentic character of the travertine.   • Brushed: Wire-brushed to create a soft, "leathered" texture that feels incredible underfoot. • Chiseled Edge: The edges are manually distressed, providing a rustic, aged look that hides minor chips and imperfections.   The Versailles Layout (Modular Design) The Versailles pattern uses four distinct sizes to create a non-linear, interlocking design that breaks up traditional grid lines. Each 16 sq. ft. kit includes:   • (2) 16" x 24" • (4) 16" x 16" • (2) 16" x 8" • (4) 8" x 8" Key Features & Benefits • Superior Slip Resistance: The combination of a brushed texture and chiseled edges provides elite grip, making it a premier choice for wet pool decks and entryways. • Stay-Cool Technology: Natural travertine stays significantly cooler than concrete or porcelain, providing a comfortable surface for bare feet in direct sunlight.   • Aged Aesthetic: The chiseled finish ensures that the stone looks better with age, as new wear simply blends into the existing rustic texture. • Versatile Thickness: Available in 1/2" for indoor flooring or 1.25" for heavy-duty outdoor pavers. • Organic Beauty: The "Unfilled" state allows the stone to breathe and showcases the true geological history of the material. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) What is the difference between "Filled" and "Unfilled" travertine? "Filled" travertine has its natural pores plugged with resin for a smooth surface. "Unfilled" travertine (like this collection) keeps those pores open for a more textured, organic, and rustic appearance.   How do I grout "Unfilled" chiseled stone? You have two options: 1. Full Surface Grout: Spread grout over the entire tile, allowing it to fill the natural holes for a more solid, easier-to-clean surface. 2. Joint-Only Grouting: Carefully fill only the spaces between the stones to keep the deep, porous texture of the stone face visible. Is this stone suitable for a salt-water pool deck? Yes. Silver Travertine is highly durable. However, we recommend using a high-quality salt-repellent sealer to protect the stone’s integrity and color from the salt-water environment.   Will an enhancing sealer change the color? Yes. If you use an Enhancing Sealer, the greys and silvers will become deeper and more vibrant (similar to how the stone looks when wet). If you prefer the light, chalky ash tones, use a Standard Penetrating Sealer. Does the Versailles pattern repeat? The pattern is a modular loop. While it repeats every 16 square feet, the random placement of the four sizes creates the illusion of a completely custom, non-repeating stone floor.
