Better Cables Silver Serpent RCA Audio Audiophile Interconnect Cables

Silver Serpent Audio Interconnect Cable Overview As one of the first direct-to-consumer high-end audio/video cable manufacturers on the Internet, BetterCables.com has continually impressed consumers, reviewers, installers, and electronics manufacturers that use our products. We have learned a lot about audio interconnect manufacturing over the past decades. With this knowledge and feedback from our satisfied customers, we are proud to offer our new Silver Serpent RCA Audio Interconnect. By increasing the conductor size over previous models, we use more silver and more copper, while lowering the resistance. Silver is the conductivity KING when It comes to audio cables. Gold is good, copper is great, but silver is the best! Silver Serpents contain silver in the conductor. Silver, a precious metal, is the ONLY metal with a higher electrical conductivity than copper. Silver Serpent Audio Interconnects use 99.999% pure silver. The electrical conductivity of silver is 106% of that of annealed copper on the IACS scale. Even though the cost of silver is much greater than copper, it's sonic benefits are immediately apparent. We also use ultra-pure copper in our Silver Serpent Audio Interconnects. The addition of copper brings “warmth” to the audio sound-complementing the sonic detail from the silver. The Silver Serpent Audio Interconnects strike a unique balance between outstanding performance and cost. The Silver Serpent Audio Interconnects are considered a true “value” in the world of high-end audio cables. This is an outstanding silver/copper hybrid analog interconnect that is sonically revealing without the harshness associated with most pure silver interconnects. Whether you are looking to maximize the dynamics of your home theater system or 2-channel system, you will enjoy silky-smooth audio using our advanced, low-loss conductors and industry-low capacitance measurements. The Silver Serpent Audio Cable features 99.999% pure silver-coated conductors. Silver Serpent Audio Interconnect Cable Technical Information Stranded-core silver-coated conductors. Low 17.3 pF/ft capacitance. Nitrogen-injected hard-cell insulation. 95% braided shielding. Highly flexible.          The cables present music with detail, and transparency and are as neutral as any wires I've heard. It's a lovely combination of smoothness without hazy warmth or any such sonic veiling. I was particularly impressed with the cables' handling of mid-range and upper bass, delivered with clarity and punch. You get performance and build that can stand with cables costing two or three times as much. Todd Whitesel (Goldmine Magazine - Silver Serpent Audio Interconnects review) The hybrid construction gives all of the sonic benefits of silver (dynamic high frequencies) and all of the sonic benefits of copper (deep, tight bass response). The combination of silver, low-attenuation, and top-notch quality insulation makes this a world-class audio cable with no equal at ANY PRICE.
