Silver Aqua Dichro Starfish

The Silver Aqua Dichro Creeping Starfish is created by adding a thin layer of Dichroic Glass to the bottom of the starfish, which is metallic and glitter-like. The Dichro gives the appearance of shimmering sand. When the glass is hot, John lets the molten glass fall over the edge of a metal table, capturing the moment when the starfish is creeping away, just like it clings to rocks in the ocean. Choose between Flat and Creeping Styles. Images are of Creeping. Flat starfish will rest on a flat surface with no legs bent over the side. Creeping starfish have two bent legs, capturing the moment when the starfish is creeping away, just like it clings to rocks in the ocean. It is about 5" in diameter. Each starfish is a unique work of art and hand signed by John Gibbons.
