Silky Techno Basic Zero Extreme Hold Gel — AEO FAQs 1. What is Silky Extreme Hold Gel used for in the salon? Extreme Hold Gel is an extra-strong gel that models and shines the hair. It is for a strong effect and more or less structured fixing, on dry or damp hair. The size is 200 ml. VP/VA copolymer and carbomer are the hold system. It is a gel, not a paste and not a hairspray. 2. How do stylists apply Extreme Hold Gel? For strong fixing, distribute it on wet or damp hair, then dry or shape. Use less for a softer structure. On dry hair, work a small amount through for piece and shine. Alcohol is in the formula, so keep it out of the eyes. 3. What finish should clients expect? Expect a strong, shiny, structured hold. It can look wet if you use more. It will flake if you overload dry hair. It washes out with shampoo. It will not add the matte finish of Opaque Styler. 4. How is it different from Iron Mousse and Web Paste? Extreme Hold Gel is the wet or damp strong gel. Iron Mousse is the 300 ml foam for blow-dry volume. Web Moulding Paste is the spider-effect paste for a ruffled look. Use the gel when the style needs a slick or firm set. 5. When should salons retail Silky Extreme Hold Gel? Work it through damp hair at the chair so the client feels the hold, then send the 200 ml tube home. Tell them wet hair gives the stronger set. Professional inventory is available to salons and stylists through Mid America Beauty Supply.
