Silca Thread-on Schrader Chuck

What is the SILCA Thread-On Schrader Chuck built for? The SILCA Thread-On Schrader Chuck bridges a bare SILCA hose to any Schrader valve, with a 3/16-inch hose barb on one end and female Schrader threads on the other. It comes from the same vendor that supplied SILCA pump chucks for more than 25 years, so it drops in as a faithful replacement or as the missing link when you add a Stainless Presta chuck, HIRO locking chuck, or CP1 Disc Adapter to an older pump. The thread-on connection locks to the valve mechanically rather than relying on hand pressure, so it holds during inflation and releases without losing air. Construction is all metal, nickel-plated brass, and it seals with an o-ring for a clean, repeatable connection. The hose barb fits all SILCA hoses old and new, and the female Schrader threads accept any Schrader valve or any SILCA chuck with male Schrader threads. For riders rebuilding a pump or running tubeless tires, suspension forks, and rear shocks where Schrader is the standard, this is the chuck that makes a SILCA floor pump useful everywhere. Backed by the SILCA Lifetime Warranty covering manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the user, with 7-year coverage on hard parts.
