Sigma PTC-21 Water-Resistant Ceramic Protector Filter (67mm)

The Sigma PTC-21 Water-Resistant Ceramic Protector Filter (67mm) provides enhanced front-element protection while preserving the optical performance of your lens. Featuring a redesigned exterior that complements the visual identity of Sigma lenses, this premium protector filter is built for photographers and filmmakers who want additional durability for valuable optics without compromising image quality. Constructed from a clear glass-ceramic substrate, the PTC-21 delivers exceptional impact resistance while offering greater flexibility than sapphire crystal. The protective surface helps shield the front element from dust, dirt, scratches, and accidental impacts, making it particularly useful for lenses frequently used on location or in demanding shooting environments. A water-resistant optical coating helps repel liquids from the surface, adding another layer of protection when working around moisture or unpredictable conditions. Despite its protective properties, the clear optical design maintains natural color reproduction, allowing the filter to remain attached during regular shooting. Sigma has also incorporated an improved surface treatment on the metal frame to reduce internal reflections and help maintain clean image reproduction. The updated low-profile construction is designed to minimize vignetting, including when the filter is paired with compatible ultrawide-angle lenses. Combining 67mm compatibility, durable glass-ceramic construction, water resistance, impact protection, reduced internal reflections, and a low-profile frame, the Sigma PTC-21 Water-Resistant Ceramic Protector Filter provides robust everyday protection for photographers and filmmakers who want to safeguard their lenses while maintaining optical quality.
