Sight Words

Become familiar with the most frequently used words in English. Sight Words by Rainbow Phonics include 52 cards for teaching the most commonly used decodable words.  Cards are double-sided, with sight words on the front and sound buttons to support decoding. The sound buttons are color-coded with short vowels in red and consonants in blue. There are also lines or dashes to represent digraphs and these are also color-coded according to their consonant or vowel pattern. On the reverse side are color-coded phoneme frames with a write-and-wipe surface so children can practice spelling each sight word.  The outside borders are color-coded in accordance with the phases of Rainbow Phonics. Cards also integrate with the lessons in the Teacher Planners at the different grade levels.
