Wagner Tuning Side Mounted Water Cooler for BMW M2 Competition S55

Wagner Tuning Competition Side Water Cooler for BMW M2 Competition (F87 S55) – 94% more volume Optimize the cooling performance of your BMW F87 M2 Competition and ensure maximum performance! This Wagner Tuning Competition side water cooler is the targeted upgrade for thermal stabilization of the 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine. The massive 94% increase in volume in the low-temperature circuit guarantees stable temperatures – ideal for race track and tuning vehicles. Why this side water cooler is a must for your M2 Competition: Extreme increase in volume: The Competition racing mesh increases the cooling volume of the side cooler by an impressive +94% (3.2 liters vs. OEM 1.65 liters). Direct performance increase: Effectively lowers the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit. This improves intercooler cooling, stabilizes system thermodynamics, and prevents heat-related power loss. Optimal airflow: Includes a carbon air duct that maximizes airflow to the side cooler and further increases cooling performance. Maximum heat transfer: The optimized ratio between internal and external cooling surfaces ensures maximum efficiency in heat exchange. Long-lasting reliability: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting cooling performance and system protection. Plug & play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to detailed installation instructions. Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the BMW S55 The 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine in the BMW F87 M2 Competition relies on an indirect intercooler circuit. This separate cooling water circuit determines how effectively the charge air is cooled. The Wagner Tuning side water cooler significantly improves this circuit: Volume: The cooler achieves a 94% increase in volume (3.2 liters vs. OEM 1.65 liters). Depth: The installation depth increases from 40 mm to 68 mm. Cooling surface: The cooling surface increases by 14.9%. This massive increase in capacity in the side cooler, in combination with the carbon air duct, ensures that the increased cooling water volume keeps the system temperature at a lower level over a longer period of time – a critical advantage for the reliability and performance of your M2 Competition. Technical data in direct comparison (OEM vs. Wagner Tuning side cooler) The Wagner Tuning side water cooler offers decisive advantages over the standard part: Volume (V): From OEM 1.65 L to 3.2 L (increase +94%). Dimensions (depth): From OEM 40 mm to 68 mm. Surface area (A): From OEM 412.5 cm² to 473.8 cm² (increase of +14.9%).
