A Compact, Portable Telescope Mount for Grab-and-Go Astronomy. The Explore Scientific Sidara Nano Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount combines portability, simplicity and precise control in a lightweight package. Designed for small telescopes and grab-and-go observing, the Sidara Nano makes it easy to set up quickly and start exploring the night sky.  Its intuitive alt-azimuth design allows you to move your telescope naturally up and down and side to side, making it easy to locate the Moon, planets, star clusters and other celestial objects. Once your target is in view, the mount's slow-motion controls provide smooth, precise adjustments to help keep objects centered in the eyepiece as they move across the sky.  With a 5-pound payload capacity, the Sidara Nano is an excellent choice for lightweight telescope setups. The included lightweight tripod creates a highly portable observing system that's easy to carry into the backyard, take camping or transport to your favorite dark-sky observing site.  Simple Alt-Azimuth Operation  The Sidara Nano is designed to make astronomy easy. There are no complicated alignment procedures and no electronics to configure. Set up the tripod, attach your telescope, point toward the sky and start observing.  Smooth Slow-Motion Controls  Finding an object is only part of the observing experience. The Sidara Nano's slow-motion controls allow small, controlled movements that make it easier to precisely center celestial objects and follow them across the sky.  Whether you're exploring lunar craters, watching Jupiter and its moons, observing Saturn or sweeping through bright star clusters, the Sidara Nano gives you simple, hands-on control of your telescope.  Key Features  Alt-azimuth telescope mount with intuitive up/down and side-to-side movement 5-pound payload capacity for lightweight telescope setups Slow-motion controls for smooth, precise adjustments Lightweight tripod for easy transport and setup Compact design ideal for grab-and-go astronomy No complicated alignment procedures No electronics or power required Great for observing the Moon, planets, star clusters and other celestial objects Easy operation for beginning astronomers Convenient portable mount for experienced observers
