As a result, teak is easier to keep clean and sanitary for kitchen and food use. Built-in levelers combat uneven terrain without scratching surfaces and they're easy to use Materials Natural Teak Sustainably harvested and inherently durable, Teak is naturally amber colored but weathers to a silvery gray patina when left outside.  Quickly clean the spillage by dabbing the area clean with a clean, absorbing cloth. Use clean water to spray dirt away from the surface and dry thoroughly. Do not use soap. To maintain teak’s natural honey-amber color, applying teak oil prevents weathering.
