Sicilian Garlic

Mid-season, Artichoke type. A premium heirloom softneck originating from Sicily. The large, pearly white bulbs produce about 12–18 easy-to-peel cloves. Sicilian is a dependable, high-yielding variety, thriving best in zones 6–10, and adapts well to a wide range of climates. Its bold, spicy bite when fresh mellows to a rich, mild sweetness in cooking, making it perfect for everyday use. Flexible necks are ideal for classic garlic braids, and when properly cured, bulbs store beautifully for 8–12 months.  Garlic is shipped only in the fall—starting in mid-September, depending on the season and the variety.
