Siberian Wallflower

Don't let the name fool you; the Siberian Wallflower is far from a shy background player. This radiant wildflower commands attention with clusters of vibrant orange, phlox-like blossoms that glow against narrow green foliage. While technically a hardy biennial, it is a generous spirit that typically blooms in its first year, offering a long season of color from early summer well into autumn. Reaching a manageable height of 18 inches, it is an ideal choice for brightening up well-drained garden edges. The flowers carry a delightful, spicy-sweet fragrance with hints of citrus, creating a sensory treat for you and a beacon for local wildlife. On sunny days, the blooms are bustling with butterflies and bees; we've even seen bumblebees flocking to this late-season nectar source as late as October, long after other flowers have faded.
