Shrimp Snack – Bonefish Fly

The Shrimp Snack is a small-batch bonefish fly designed by FINATICS Pro Staff tyer A.J. Rosenbohm, built to match the small, natural shrimp that bonefish feed on in clear, pressured water. Tied on a size #6 hook, this pattern keeps a compact, realistic profile that lands soft and stays in the strike zone without spooking fish. The standout feature is the rabbit strip tail, which adds constant, natural movement—even on the pause—giving the fly a subtle lifelike pulse that triggers eats when other patterns get ignored. The combination of a clean shrimp silhouette, light flash accents, and flowing rabbit movement makes this fly highly effective for technical flats fishing where presentation and realism matter most. Offered in proven pink and tan colorways, the Shrimp Snack covers both visibility and natural imitation, allowing you to adjust based on water clarity and light conditions. This is not a mass-produced pattern. Each batch is tied in limited quantities, maintaining consistency, durability, and fishability.
