Shredded Hardwood Mulch

Our most popular mulch, shredded hardwood, is blended by taking yard debris and tree cuttings and grinding it down once, letting it sit for several months, then grinding it again. It is nutrient rich, cost effective and stays in place well with water runoff or on sloped areas. It is great for any landscape project. Its dark brown color will fade to a lighter brown hue over time. When it decomposes, it can act as a natural soil conditioner, adding nutrients back into the Earth. We recommend using mulch to top dress your landscape beds after planting to add color and help the soil retain moisture and prevent weed growth.
