Ship Wheel Compass Pendant w/Stones

Maritime history dates back thousands of years from the early civilizations in Ancient Egypt to thousands of years later when the Norsemen in the North Sea would set sail for Greenland, Iceland and on to the Americas landing in Newfoundland, Canada. Mariners around the world for millennia have adorn themselves with symbolic charms, amulets, and talisman to bring good luck, to ward off evil spirits or misfortune, or a simple reminder of their home port. In modern times the maritime tradition of wearing symbolic charms and pendants continues amongst many sailors across cultures and the seven seas, including those serving in Naval Services, Merchant Mariners, Commercial fishermen, Explorers, Hobbyists, from Recreational boaters, fishermen, to world class Competitive Sail Teams.  Our Ship Wheel Compass pendant was created with all Mariners and Sailors past and present in mind. Like all of our jewelry designs we strive to offer something unique with attention to detail being the utmost priority, composing solid yet ergonomic designs that wears comfortably but doesn't feel light or cheaply made for the masses.  The Ship Wheel Pendant was created in 2 sizes 38mm and 48mm, with the measurement taken from the tope of the bail where the chain goes through to the bottom of the opposite wheel handle. Both 38mm and 48mm accommodate up to a 5mm chain/necklace. For larger chains and necklaces we can for the ship wheel with a shackle from 5mm to 15mm for very large custom chains. We can also customize the ship wheel, by adding to it, or scale this design up or down in size to the perfect size for you.  All Nautical Pendants are custom designed originals with the highest quality .925 sterling, .935 Argentium non-tarnish silver, 10k, 14k, or 18k gold and can be set with a genuine precious stone (your choice of Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald).   SPECIFICATIONS Design Name: Ship Wheel Compass Pendant Material : Sterling Silver/Yellow Gold/ White Gold  Material Purity : .925 / 10K / 14K / 18K  Material Color : Yellow/White Manufacturing Process: Investment Casting Finish : High Polish Gemstone: Faceted Gender : Unisex  Jewelry Type : Pendant Bail Type : Fixed Bail/Chain Size : SM 6mm Standard                                                                             Other bail sizes offered XS = 4mm, MD =  8mm, LG = 10mm, and XL = 12mm upon request Orientation : Vertical Design Method : Sculpted Feature : 3D Sold By Unit : Each Height : Medium 38mm/ Large 48mm (including bale) Width:  Weights are approximately:  Contact us for weights Recommended chains: Med/Heavy Custom Swivel Link Chain, Med/Heavy Mariner link, or Med Anchor Puff chain.
