Shiny Shapes: The Pumpkin Patch

It’s a day of pumpkin-picking fun is this delightfully autumnal title from Roger Priddy that celebrates the wonderful family ritual of finding the perfect Halloween pumpkin. There are pumpkin-shaped holes on every page, edged with shimmery, shiny colored foil, leading to the end of the story―Halloween night, when the pumpkin is carved and glowing on the doorstep, as the neighborhood children go out trick-or-treating. The perfect seasonal board book, telling a tale in rhyme of the ritual of going to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin for Halloween. Graduated, pumpkin-shaped holes are die-cut into every page through to the inside back cover. Beautifully illustrated throughout, this book is perfect for Thanksgiving and Halloween.
