Shimano SLX A Casting Rods (2023)

DETAILS The all-new SLX series of rods provides anglers with a revamped and eye-catching aesthetic coupled with new Shimano rod technology to deliver tournament-level performance and versatility to cover any technique. The redesigned SLX lineup features Shimano's proprietary DIAFLASH technology — carbon tape diagonally wrapped in opposite directions on the outermost layer of the butt section to form an array of "X" shapes — to prevent twisting and enhance an angler's pulling power. The comprehensive series of casting and spinning rods expands upon the previous generation of SLX rods and now features two models specifically for anglers throwing large swimbaits. Donning Titanium Oxide guides, the redesigned SLX series features EVA split-grip handles with custom-etched logos to provide anglers all-day comfort and added performance whether it's a weeknight tournament or in pursuit of the next personal best.   FEATURES + BENEFITS DIAFLASH EVA Grips Custom Shimano Reel Seat Laser Etched Grips Carbon Locking Nut Titanium Oxide Guides SPECIFICATIONS MODEL NUMBER LENGTH GUIDE TYPE PIECES FOREGRIP LENGTH POWER LURE RATING POWERPRO LINE GRIP MATERIAL ACTION SLXC72H 7'2" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Heavy 1/2-1 1/2 30-65 EVA Fast SLXCX72MA 7'2" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium 1/4-1/2 30-Oct EVA Fast SLXC70MHA 7'0" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 20-50 EVA Fast SLXCX72MHA 7'2" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 20-50 EVA Extra Fast SLXCX72MH2A 7'2" Titanium Oxide 2 1 Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 20-50 EVA Extra Fast SLXC72MHGA 7'2" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 3/8-3/4 30-50 EVA Moderate SLXC75HA 7'5" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Heavy 1/2-1 1/2 30-65 EVA Fast SLXCX75MHA 7'5" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 20-50 EVA Extra Fast SLXC74MHGA 7'4" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 3/8-3/4 30-50 EVA Moderate SLXC73MHSBA 7'3" Titanium Oxide 1 3 Medium Heavy 4-Jan 40-65 EVA Fast SLXC610MHA 6'10" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Heavy 1/4-3/4 20-50 EVA Extra Fast SLXC78HSBA 7'8" Titanium Oxide 1 3 Heavy 8-Feb 40-65 EVA Fast SLXCX610MA 6'10" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium 1/4-1/2 30-Oct EVA Extra Fast SLX610MLGA 6'10" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium Light 3/16-3/8 15-30 EVA Moderate SLXC70MGA 7'0" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Medium 1/4-1/2 20-40 EVA Moderate SLXC710HA 7'10" Titanium Oxide 1 1 Heavy 1/2-1 1/2 30-65 EVA Fast
