Shimano BAITRUNNER D

The Shimano Baitrunner D Spinning Reel blends trusted baitrunner functionality with refined saltwater-ready performance features for anglers targeting inshore and offshore species with natural bait presentations. Outfitted with S A-RB bearings that use the same corrosion-resistant treatment as Shimano’s A-RB system but with added shields on both sides, the Baitrunner D keeps out salt and grit to maintain smooth rotation in demanding saltwater conditions. A seamless One-Piece Bail ensures smooth line flow to the roller, reducing friction and virtually eliminating the risk of tangles or line snags. Shimano’s Propulsion Line Management System, highlighted by the Propulsion Spool Lip, enhances casting distance while minimizing wind knots and backlashes—results backed by extensive testing and simulation. These integrated technologies make the Baitrunner D a dependable choice for anglers who rely on precise, controlled presentations and reliable drag performance. 3+1 S A-RB bearings feature double-sided shields to block salt and sand One-Piece Bail promotes friction-free line travel and clean lay Propulsion Spool Lip improves casting distance and reduces line issues Trusted baitrunner function for controlled free spool with rear drag Ideal for live bait applications in inshore, nearshore, and surf fishing Durable construction for long-lasting saltwater use Manufacturer's 1 year limited warranty
