Slant Fine Jewelry's Shield Choker Necklace is created with a naturally-formed Sun Pyrite framed with polished and oxidized sterling prongs and bail.  Pyrite is said to be a protective stone, shielding the user from negative energy of all kinds. Part of the Lozen Collection, which is named after a female Apache warrior and leader. All pieces in the Lozen Collection are abstract representations of shields, tear drops, or bullets. The primary material of the collection is pyrite, or fool's gold, a nod towards the mining industry which attracted many European settlers. Hand fabricated; imperfections are intentional.
