Shichimi Togarashi Also Known As: Japanese Seven Spice, Shichimi, Nana-Iro Togarashi Ingredients: Chili Pepper, Sesame Seed, Dehydrated Orange, Poppy Seed, Ginger Taste and Aroma: Mildly hot, with notes of citrus and pepper. Uses: Schichimi Togarashi is a Japanese table spice added to almost everything, including marinades, grilled meat (especially pork), soup and noodle dishes. It pairs particularly well with fatty foods like unagi and tempura.
