The Shellback Model kit will be a bonafide boatbuilding experience for you. No pre-cut parts here, everything is as if you just returned from the lumberyard. When this model is ready to launch, you'll have total confidence in your building skills. Then it's just a question of which is more fun... building the model or the full-sized boat. The finished model is approximately 17" long, with a scale of 1 1/4" = 1'. Sails, wood, and instructions are included, but you get to supply the glue, paint, and tools. (Stand not included.)
