Ewe in the Valley

While painting the UK oil landscapes, I was quietly sketching the sheep I photographed in the English and Scottish hills. I eventually ended up with a small flock of these sweet, silly, fluffy creatures full of personality, keeping watch as I painted. These drawings have been a reminder that there’s something deeply refreshing about being in the presence of a gentle humility. This is an unframed 8x10 inch original pencil drawing on 130 gsm Strathmore drawing paper.  Matting and framing is available here. Just add it to your cart along with the drawing(s) of your choice, and allow another 2-3 weeks for shipping framed drawings.
