Shave Brush - Handle Choice of Color, Boar Bristle

A great starter shave brush, this boar bristle brush has a black resin  handle.  Boar Bristle or Natural Bristle is the preferred choice over synthetic bristles in the "value" category of brushes.  The benefits of boar bristle over synthetic include improved water loading which will improve lather hydration and a more flexible bristle. The downside to boar bristle is they are prone to bristle breakage, so we recommended that when using a boar bristle brush you develop the lather in the mug and use the brush only to apply it to the face using a "painting" type of motion.
